  • Hi, I'm from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and the pix are stunning. We had Hurricane Juan, a Category 2 storm, strike our city on September 28, 2003. We had no power for a week and the city was shut down. That day was spent stormchasing. I wouldn't stay in the house because the windows were leaking very badly and there was 2 inches of water on the floor. We had to move shortly after because the slum landlord wouldn't do anything about the water and the mould.
