By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12:17 PM

  • I'm going to have nightmares now

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:02 PM

  • Im sorry these are quite incredible pictures , almost to good to be real! I think they are fake,
    proove me wrong .

  • Where were these taken? You say these were taken "before the devastation" on Sep 14th??...this could not have been before Katrina for Katrina hit us August 29, 2005. I must admit these are some awsome pictures though.

  • The pictures you are showing are from a storm chaser that took these pictures during storms in Iowa. They are tornados, not a hurricane!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:11 AM

  • Who cares if they are a tornado or a Hurrican, they are COOL!!!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:52 PM

  • I am working on a project on disaster psychology and am very disappointed by these pictures because they are misleading--they are obviously not Katrina photographs. Thanks for nothing.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 4:21 AM

  • those are some great pictures thanks for sharing them

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9:56 AM

  • katrina was a much larger storm than this one, this is not a picture of an approaching hurricane, please!!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 1:59 PM

  • As amazing as these are, they are not of Katrina....I've recieved the same ones on Aug.25th at 4:30 pm. Katrina was reaching Miami at this time. Who will ever know where they were taken???
    From Toronto, Canada

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 7:01 PM

  • Nice pictures, too bad you couldn't get pictures of your own. I think everyone should know that you took those pictures from a Tornado that happened in Alberta, Canada June 2005
Hurricanes develop from the water. Tornadoes develop on land. If your going to fake pictures, you get pictures of a real hurricane

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:40 AM

  • If those pictures are not of Katrina than whoever did that is seriously dead wrong. Amazing pictures though. Gods wrath was really on that place and it dosent look like he was too happy.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 2:37 PM

  • It says "Before the Devastation" on the pictures. It looks like pictures before some kind of devastation.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9:48 PM

  • These pics are awesome!
Matters not if they're of Katrina; they can still give us a good view of what catastrophic weather looks like. Someone risked their life to get these shots. The cynical viewers should go out and risk their lives for shots more satisfying to them.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 7:06 AM

  • If you go to truthorfiction.com you will see these are not pictures from Katrina. They are real, just not from Katrina

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 3:03 PM

  • all that matters is god gave some very lucky person the oppurtunity to take these absolutely aw inspiring pictures

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 7:27 PM

  • sweet little lying paul!!! these are fake pictures that someone else took!!!!! and of course paul's a dumb ass and thought we would believe his shit!!!!

  • These pictures were processed on "October 1, 2004 using Software furnished by ACD Systems Digital Imaging" This information is on all digital photographs in what is knwon as th EXIF data that includes such info as the exposure, shutter speed, etc. I discovered this while collecting photos for a slide presentation I am doing for my company and for a few friends who helped with hurricane relief on the gulf coast and New Orleans. I, too, was disappointed that they were presented as Katrina. I don't know the origin, but I can reasonably say theat they are not from Katrina.

  • I am a resident of the New Orleans area that was hit by the storm. I do not recognize this landscape and I have lived here all my life. These are nice and interesting pictures but they are simply not from the Southeast region of Louisiana.

    truly!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 4:37 PM

  • that is really bad what happened in the hurricane i would have rather been one of the people that died so they can have there life hope it dosent happen again.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 7:34 PM

  • this must be the leading eye wall i've been reading about.why wasn't bush deposed or voted out with a decree of lack of confidence over this? you can't be for the people if you choose to only care for some of the people. i would be seriously concerned for the democracy of the country if he is voted back into power over the atrocious way he has governed it!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9:24 PM

  • They are very good pictures, but I have had them saved on my computer for over 3 years now. one of my friends said thet her Aunt took them.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:55 AM

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 3:58 AM

  • Those pictures are gorgeous, however I hope I am never hit by something like that!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:11 AM

  • I happen to be a hurricane Katrina survivor, from New Orleans, and I will say this: The fact that these pictures aren't really of hurricane Katrina may not be important to some of you,but it is to me and the many other people who lived and died through it. Today, right now, over a year later there is still a great deal of suffering, pain, frustration, depression, and hardship being weighed upon us.This has been the single most devastating thing to occur in my life, and the lives of many others as well. This is no joke to us,my dears, and it will continue to be a source of bad memories for the rest of my life.....so please show a little more respect for the the fact that this was real for us then, and it is real for us now. but the pictures are cool.

  • My son recently sent me these photos, and awesome as they are, they are NOT photos of a hurricane, but a tornado. I don't know how anyone could think otherwise. When I said this to my son he became annoyed with me as he believed these were of Hurricane Katrina. He told me, sarcastically, that I should do some research so I could prove him wrong, so I am, and that's how I came to this blog about Scientology and the related "South Park" episodes. Anyway, I'm going to check out Mike Hollingshead to find out if he is the photographer who actually took these photos. If I learn the truth I'll come back to leave another comment. And of course I'll let my son know...

  • Some of the more common side effects include but are not limited to nausea, problems with erectile function, insomnia, diarrhea, dry mouth, tremor, dizziness, and changes in libido. 2 million prescriptions written by doctors who believe it would serve their patients needs well. http://echlfans.net/ - effexor online pharmacy Those who wish to discontinue Effexor should talk to their doctor about how to do this safely and effectively. The body does become dependent upon the medication and when stopped suddenly withdrawal syndrome can result.
